When We Are closed
The surgery is closed at the following times:
- Weekdays: from 18:30 until 08:00 the following day.
- Weekends: from 18:30 Friday until 08:00 Monday.
- Public Holidays: All public holidays (24 hours) until 08:00 next normal business day.
If you call the surgery during out of hours (evening, weekend and public holidays) you will receive a message advising you to call the surgery once it re-opens at 08:00 the next working day. If however you need a doctor urgently you will be advised to call the 111 service. The line can transfer you to 111.
NHS 111
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. You should call 111 if you urgently need medical help but it is not life threatening. Calls are free from mobiles and landlines.
999 is the NHS emergency number. You should call 999 for immediate, life-threatening emergencies. Calls are free from mobiles and landlines.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:
- Treat yourself at home.
- Go to a Primary Care Centre.
If you need face-to-face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
